SONY LEGACY MOD

Example for an official CD-R.

Elvis Now

Elvis Now was first issued by BMG in the early 90's in many countries. The last issue was made (of course as "normal" CD) by Sony Music USA in the year 2010.
The stock should be sold out, but you can find CD as marked as new issued. Attention here! It is probable that you will get a CD-R.

All inlays are professionell printed and look like the original issue from the USA, 2009.

Cover Inlay:

Also the back cover looks identical. Only if you look at the barcode you can see a difference. The code is new.

The barcode is valid and registered to Sony Music (Sony-BMG) USA

And now we come to the point of shame for a CD collector. The "new" CD is a CD-R.
Not a "homemade" CD-R but an official made.

As for all CD-R, there is no matrix number, but the identification code for the CD-R media plus the original catalog number: (12089103   T80-UG-5    A764549)

We have read out the CD-R with a special program. The result shows that it is a CD-R and that it contains the ISRC codes.
Illegal copies never have the ISRC-Code in the sub-code of the tracks. The code will be destroyed when copied.
