vocals as released on the 1964 Spanish EP Viva Las Vegas'

including "Mystery Train" from the original HMV 78rpm'

from the Elvis One label'
_______Notes aboute the tracks:
Track 1:
The "single" master of "Doncha' Think It's Time" is spliced from takes 40, 47
and 48, while the album master is spliced from take 40 and 39' The "album"
master of "Doncha' Think It's Time" can be distinguished from the "single"
master, from the first chorus' On the 'Album' master Elvis sings "Kiss me honey
teil me you're mine'''" but on the "single" master he sings "Love me honey teil
me you're mine'''"
Tracks 2, 10, 13, 14 & 20:
All Sun recordings are digital transfers from the original sources (singles and
78rpm's)
You can hear the "dry" version of 'That's All Right' without echo'
Track 4:
"Kiss Me Quick" was released without backing vocals on the 1964 Spanish EP Viva
Las Vegas (3-20820)' This was done by eliminating one of the stereo channels'
Track 5:
There are a couple of different edits in existence of this song' On the single
and album versions there are six introductory bars while the original EP version
(EPA-3419) has only two introductory bam' In all other respects though the
version is exactly the same'
Track 8:
The single master is a composite of take 6 & work part 1- ending - take 2 while
the album master is spliced from vocal overdub takes 6 & 5'
Track 6:
The originally released version was overdubbed and slowed down on March 18 1965
and can be found on the "Elvis For Everyone" album' The version of "Tomorrow
Night" (PPA5 2671) that was released on the "Reconsider Baby" album and again on
"The Sun Sessions" was an edited version of the original master where the solo
was cut and a small part repeated' lt was spliced from 0:00-1:28, 1:49-1:54,
0:10-0:25 and 1:47-2:58 of the original version as released on this "Past
Masters"'
Track 7:
"Suspicion" was released by mistake without backing vocals on the Italian single
"Suspicion / (It's A) Long Lonely Highway" (PB-9121) in 1977, when RCA
mistakenly eliminated one of the stereo channels when mixing to mono' The same
happened long before on on the 1964 Spanish EP Viva Las Vegas (3-20820)'
Track 11:
A 2:10 minute extended master of "Tonight's All Right For Love" was released on
the mono and stereo German pressings of the G'I' Blues album in 1960 (1st
pressing only), and a German single in 1960 (47-9340) in mono' lt appears that
alter a second pressing of the albern was done (in 1963?) they used the original
length (1:18) master from then on'
Track 16:
The EP version was undubbed, without backing vocals' The overdubs for the LP
version were done on June 19, 1958'
Not a typical fanclub CD' This title was released under
the ELVISONE label and were sold for commercial reasons by the EFE shop
