Elvis Presley - The Gospel Series
was distributed by Provident Music to be marketed through Christian
bookstores.
This is not a regular RCA Records Elvis release. It's one of those specialty marketing deals to
help Elvis reach new audiences in new markets.
RCA did a deal with
Provident Music, the leading Christian record label, and produces to repackage material from Elvis’ gospel and Christmas
repertoire for a special 5-disc series to be distributed in Christian
bookstores.
Provident Music was integrated in the BMG Muic Group in
the year 2003.
