Insert sheetAnnouncement: "Kid Galahad" was Elvis' 10th film and
directed in 1962 by Phil Karlson.
The recording sessions for the soundtrack took place ten months before the
film's release, on October 26 and 27, 1961, in Hollywood.
Six songs were recorded for the film and an EP album was released in August
1962.
The song "King of the Whole Wide World" reached number 30 on the Billboard Hot
100 singles chart and the EP album reached number one in the United Kingdom for
17 weeks.
RDM Edition now offers an edition of this EP bringing together the 6 songs in
Stereo and Mono versions.
The visual of the record cover is used and the CD has a vinyl look.
