VIVA ELVIS
One-Hour Radio Special 59:00 Version
Viva Elvis is a celebration of Elvis Presley re-imagined as if he recorded the
album today. Over the last 3 years Music Director and Arranger Ei ich Van
Tourneau and Hugo Bombardier have painstakingly deconstructed track alter track,
taking bits and pieces of the original recordings and then arranging them like a
jigsaw puzzle, adding new sounds and nuances to very well known songs. They
started from the original source material - reels of tape that Elvis recorded
during his career - and created a brand new interpretation of Elvis for the 21st
century.
In this one-hour radio special, you will hear of this process from Von Tourneau,
Executive Producer Steve Berkowitz, Producer Rob Santos, Engineer Vic Anesini,
Guitarist Jean-Sebastien Chouinard and Drummer Ben Clement.
