Elvis '68 - 30th Anniversary Sampler
Issued in 1998 by BMG EU to promote the “Tiger Man” and “Memories” CD releases.
This 6 track promo CD is presented in a digipack. The front cover shows a black and white picture of Elvis from the “Stand Up Show”. The title of the CD is written in orange print. The inside of the digipack contains a short synopsis behind the “Comeback Special” and lists the tracks contained on the CD. In the bottom right corner , it states : “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Resale”. Underneath the CD , we have a black and white picture of Elvis from the “Little Egypt” sequence. The back cover sports a black and white picture of Elvis from the “Sit Down Show”. It also lists the tracks contained on the CD in yellow and orange print. It is interesting to note that the “Trying To Get To You” track is misnamed as “Trying To Get You” !!! It also contains the phrase : “For Promotional Use Only -Not For Sale”. The CD itself is black with orange and yellow print. In addition , the BMG and RCA logos are also included as well as the following phrase : “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale”.
