"Merry Christmas" was the first Elvis CD with Christmas songs. At that time there were few or no pressing plants in the United States. So it's normal that the USA edition was also made in Japan. The USA CD was released in November 1984 and only available until Christmas Day. This CD was never re-released, presumably due to the overwhelming success of the CD "Elvis' Christmas Album" released the following year. |
