Description: | Musica
& Musica was a weekly magazine that in 1992 during a 20 week period
presented some of the greatest music genres ranging from classical
music to jazz and Rock'n'Roll. Each issue came with a CD and was
dedicated to one particular artist or band such as The
Beatles, Duke Ellington, Edith Piaf, Maria
Callas, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan and Igor Strawinsky. Elvis was the first in the series which was published by Armando Curcio Editore (by license from BMG Ariola S.p.A.). The accompanying 24 page color magazine featured the background of Rock'n'Roll, Elvis mania, his movie career, examples of Italian Elvis impersonators, Sun Records and Sam Phillips, and finally a note on the song writers. |
