the ELVISONE label and were sold for commercial reasons by the EFE shop
"Shoppin' Around".
Announcement: A very nice collection of recordings mostly not
released by Elvis' official record company, including some recordings that have
never been heard before. These include interviews, demos, rehearsals, live
recordings and more...
Perhaps one of the most notable recordings is the song "Banana" recorded for the
movie "King Creole". This recording comes from the original acetate and was
previously unreleased until now!
Other recordings are: Radio Spots for the movie "Follow That Dream" taken from a
rare acetate. These radio spots are different from the regular radio spots (also
included in this collection) - Four previously unreleased demo recordings for
the movie "Blue Hawaii" - A part of the Hollywood rehearsal from August 16 1974
- The unedited radio broadcast from Elvis live in Toledo, Ohio, November 22 1956
with original sound - Very good sounding audience recordings from the opening
night in Las Vegas, January 26 1974 - A radio commercial for Hank Snow All Star
Jamboree with Elvis Presley, Scotty and Bill from 1955 - 1974 Soundboard
recordings - Some rare interviews previously unreleased on CD - And much more!
As a special bonus we've included some extra tracks, including a private
recording from Elvis' father Vernon Presley recorded at Graceland in 1973; "A
Message to Elvis fans and friends" recorded by Elvis' uncle Vester Presley;
recordings from Elvis' grandfather, a radio broadcast from Red Robinson
celebrating 12 years of Elvis...
With the great time of old import LP's like "A Dog's Life" and "Leavin' It Up To
You" in our minds we have put together these two CD's with lots of interesting
material to enjoy.
All recordings are newly remastered for optimum sound quality!
