IN APRIL OF 1958, the city of Horsens-based company, Hede Nielsens Fabriker Als,
breaks the news: They wish to produce vinyl records and become a record labet.
From the summer of 1958 to the fall of 1964, the vinyl records from Hede
Nielsens Fabrikker were mainly produced in Denmark. Later on, however, more or
less everything sold in Denmark was all German-made pressings, but because the
Danish fanbase was relatively small, RCA didn't manufacture a lot of the Danish
Elvis singles.
Even though it's not particularly expensive to get a complete collection (the
prices range from 50 - 200 dkr. (approx. $7 - $35) some of these 45's are pretty
hard to find, even in Denmark.
Collectors from all over the world have been contacting us to see what we have
in stock or to put a particular single an their wishlist in the hopes of
connpleting their collection.
In 2019 we decided to compile and release the Danish Singles Collection Volume
One an a beautiful red 18" 180g vinyl, Volume 2 an white vinyl, Volume 3 an blue
vinyl, and Volume 4 an purple vinyl all followed, with all being remastered by
Anthony Stuchbury, making it easy for you to collect all the Danish singles
tracks.
We hope you will enjoy the retro sound, the echo, and the feel-good music of the
Danish Singles Collection Volume Three & Four - now collected an compact disc by
popular demand.
