Concert:  A great surprise by FTD is that we can witness 2 more concerts recorded with 2 mikes by the sound engineer on the stage (soundbooth recordings). This creates an artificial stereo effect and captures some audience reactions as well. You get a feeling of really having been there being a part of the crowd. Good idea.
The concerts themselves are solid and typical for this Vegas season. Elvis is in good condition and we have highlights like, You Don't Have To Say You Love Me, Steamroller Blues, Fever, What Now My Love or the beautiful I'll Remember You.
As for the Tahoe show: We had 2 track some 10 years ago on "Takin Tahoe Tonight" and it`s a good time to release the complete show. In Lake Tahoe Elvis always felt a bit better. He liked the intimacy of the place and therefore the shows were always a bit better than in the respective Vegas years. This performance makes no exception. Just listen and enjoy highlights like Help Me Make It Through The Night, I'm Leavin', What Now My Love, Bridge Over Troubled Water or Big Hunk O' Love. I love this pack ! (Ciscoking)
