This is a special collector edition housed in a 7" (17,5 cm) triple-fold-out
cover. Includes a 12 pages booklet with listings about the takes and photos.
Album notes: With US sales of more than six million, and an even higher
figure for the rest of the world, "Elvis' Golden Records" is Elvis is the best
selling album, with the exception for his 1970 budget album "Elvis' Christmas
Album".
For this release FTD has added four songs : "Blue Suede Shoes", "My Baby Left Me",
"I Was The One" and "Playing for Keeps".
Additional stereo versions available in
RCA's vault are also added. Unfortunately most of the outtakes from the sessions
have been lost, so the bonus disc includes all the outtakes of four songs
recorded in January 1957.
