Announcement: As part of its ongoing live on tour series, FTD is pleased to
announce the release of ELVIS: LET ME BE THERE.
Released as a 3-CD 5" digi-pak, this set features three 1974 concerts recorded
at The Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas on January 28, 29, February 1, 1974.
4 panel digipak CD
Concert:
This time FTD revisits the Las Vegas winter season from 1974 . High time cause
the last outing dates back to 2006 ("I Found My Thrill") .
Anyway, here we go again and it's a pleasure to listen to January 28, 1974 DS,
January 29, 1974 MS and February 1, 1974 MS.
All soundboard recordings were previously unreleased. The January 29 MS even was
unreleased in any form before.
Elvis was in top condition and very focused on the music without being too
talkative during this quite underrated Vegas gig.
In addition the set lists were very appealing including fine renditions of songs
like My Baby Left Me, Sweet Caroline, Trying To Get To You, Spanish Eyes, Let Me
Be There, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face or Help Me.
It`s also interesting to hear Why Me, Lord? done by JD and his Stamps alone.
All in all 3 fantastic shows in a 4 panel digipak. Lean back and enjoy!
