FTD takes us back to 1975 and we are in Tampa/Florida, April 26 and
Atlanta/Georgia, May 2. Of course we all know what to expect when it comes to the shows from these days and ours make no exception. The Southern crowds went nuts as soon as Elvis hit the stage. They just loved him. The atmosphere was a win-win situation and the star enjoyed every minute on stage. You can almost feel the sparkle between Elvis and the audience when you listen to the shows. In addition the set lists were really appealing with contemporary songs and some of his smash hits, of course. Especially the Atlanta show is really thrilling. I already wrote it somewhere else : Atlanta and Elvis always was something special. He once described it as his "second home". Elvis loved Atlanta and Atlanta loved Elvis. That sumes it up perfectly. So get ready for some great shows from 1975 and highlights like That's All Right, Burning Love, Steamroller Blues, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, An American Trilogy (standing ovations) and many others. I am a great fan of those concerts and can only recommend this new FTD twofer. (Ciscoking) |
