Notes: The correct date for this show is August 24, 1969 MS.  Not August 23, 1969 DS !

The Band Introductions, In The Ghetto and the first part of Suspicious Minds are from the August 22, 1969  Midnight Show.
The last part of Suspicious Minds, What'd I Say and Can't Help Falling In Love are from the August 3, 1969 Dinner Show.

  Sample Sound: Runaway

Concert: A powerhouse performance by Elvis - his nervousness from returning to live concerts is definitely worn off, as his confidence is awe inspiring.

The "Life Story Monologue" was told by Elvis on stage in his early 1969 shows. This monologue runs an amazing 7:59 on this disc and is insightful and funny !
Not many shows were opened with "Blue Suede Shoes" !
Elvis plays guitar on "Baby , What You Want Me To Do".
"Hound Dog" and "What'd I Say" were given the powerhouse treatment in Elvis' 1969 shows , and these renditions are standouts.
"Suspicious Minds" clocks in over 7 minutes !
Great versions of "Johnny B. Goode" and "Runaway" !
"Words" wasn't performed much after the 1969 shows , and is a remarkable song when sung by Elvis. .
