Notes: |
Note: Although the CD can be found in many UK based online shops, it is a
bootleg CD. We don't understand how anyone can still fall for these alleged radio broadcasts. Everyone knows that it is a concert recording. This is a straight copy of the RoXVox CD "Elvis Presley Live, Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, 1976". This means that the songs are also of moderate quality. They were produced from a MEPG source. Don't buy this trash! Different catalog number on back cover and on CDs. Announcement: Glitz, nostalgia, and deep emotional resonance - Elvis' last show at the Memphis Coliseum was a whirlwind rendition of the icon's hits and testament to just how important a musical icon he is. Still an unmatched showman, there were signs of his declining health, which provided a poignant undertone to the performance. Elvis's voice remained a powerful and emotive instrument, capable of stirring the crowd either through his raw energy or tender emotion. Homespun brings you this WCBS-FM live radio broadcast of his show at Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, Tennessee on July 5th 1976 for your listening pleasure. | |||||||||
