Wrong title on CD "The Complet
Follow That Dream Session". Liner notes: Elvis completed his acting-work for "Blue Hawaii" in mid April. But only few weeks later, in mid July 1961, Elvis returned to Hollywood for his next picture. It was a project worked under the title "Pioneer, Go Home", but later it was re-named to "Follow That Dream". It was one of the more senseful comedies in Elvis' acting career which already became obvious when it was proclaimed, that Elvis would include only a handful of songs in the movie. In total the movie soundtrack session Elvis held on July 2nd, 1961 brought out only six songs. And one of these six songs wasn't even included in the final film-print ("A Whistling Tune"). Anyway, on this CD we bring you the complete session work done an all six recorded song. We just omitted the regular master versions already known to you for years. As a bonus, we have a very special slow version of "Stay Away" included on this CD. This was recently discovered at the Elvis archives in New York. Unfortunately it will not be on the "Complete 60's Masters" boxed set ("What'd ya mean...complete?"). So we are proud about the fact, that we can fill this leak and serve you with this Presley jam-jewel! | ||||||||||
