The KING in the G.O.A.T. 's Hometown - Elvis Presley Bootleg CD

Announcement:
E. P. Collector is back after nearly 3 years with unique release of Elvis tour opening show in Louisville, July 23rd, 1976.
The CD is titled "The KING in the G.O.A.T.'s Hometown" (EPC 2023-26).

Yes, it was the show that Elvis played in Muhammad Ali hometown!
Every tour opening concert was special and this one is not an exception. Listen to high spirited Elvis in great voice and good mood.

The July 23rd, 1976 concert is previously unreleased. This show is taken from newly found audience recorded tape and was never available in complete form and in listenable sound - until now!
Carefully restored and mastered in September 2023, with a focus on preserving the integrity of the original recording.
Hence, some minor hiss may be present; we felt it more important to preserve the high frequencies and natural ambience of the original recording.
The sound is very good for an off line recording - ask your CD dealer for audio samples!
This CD is packaged in a nicely designed digipack with local press review. All images used for the artwork were taken during July / August 1976 tour.

Sound Sample:   Funny How Time Slips Away

Concert: Previously only available as cd-r in collectors circles and compiled with a few pieces from this cd-r to make the show complete. You can hear the insertions.
Anyway, now we have the whole concert on shiny disc from a better source.
This show is from the better ones from this tour probably because it was the tour opener.
We hear Elvis doing his routine and we have no surprises. A typical but not so bad performance from these days.
Highlights: You Gave Me A Mountain, America (The Beautiful) and Hurt. For collectors of such stuff a must-have in any case. (Ciscoking)
