In the '70s, Elvis Presley backed away from his career in Hollywood and
reasserted himself as a live performer, first with his series of
engagements in Las Vegas and later through concert tours that put him
back in touch with the fans who had supported him since the beginning.
While Presley didn't record as often in the latter years of his life,
what he did produce was informed by a more mature and soulful approach
that showed the high-spirited teenager from Memphis was developing a
sound to match his status as a grownup who still sang with passion and
force.
On this release you ca find a fantastic collection of 21 alternate and
hard to find 1970s recordings, all sung straight from the heart.
