Issued in 1992 by BMG International to promote 'The complete '50s masters' box-set.

This cd is presented in a fold-out digipack. The front cover has the same picture as the '50s box-set with pink and blue print. The inside cover with a pink background contains an introduction by Ernst Mikael Jorgensen and Roger Semon written in May 1992 witch summarises Elvis' career up to his Army induction. The rear cover lists the songs included on the cd along with the recording data for each track. The cd itself is silver with black and orange print.

Well this is the first pressing this is the one with the wrong date on "Don't leave me now", the recording date is listed as february 18th -1957 , this must be february 23 - 1957 ! This one is a little bit higher in value.

Issued in 1992 by BMG International to promote “The Complete ‘50’s Masters” box set in Europe.

This CD is presented in a fold-out digipack. The front cover has the same picture as the “‘50’s Box Set” with pink and blue print. The inside cover with pink background contains an introduction by Ernst Mikael Jorgensen and Roger Semon written in May 1992 which summarizes Elvis’ career up to his Army induction. The rear cover lists the songs included on the CD along with the recording data for each track. At the top of the rear cover, it states: “Not For Sale - Promotion Only”. The CD itself is silver with black and orange print.

It is rumored that this promotional CD was repackaged by BMG after it was discovered that the rear cover of the original issue contained an incorrect recording date for “Don’t Leave Me Now”. The original cover lists April 30th 1957 (the soundtrack version recording date) as opposed to the correct date of February 23rd 1957 (non soundtrack version recording date).

Therefore, there are 2 versions with incorrect dates.  As far as it is known, there is no correct date printed on any copies issued.
