8 Songs Selected By The Swedish Elvis Fan Club
Issued in 2000 by BMG Sweden to celebrate the 19th Elvis Festival in Sweden Nov. 4th, 2000.
This 8 track promo CD is presented in a digipack. The front cover shows a full color picture of Elvis from the mid 60’s. In the upper right corner , the old RCA Victor logo is printed. Each digipack is individually stamped in the upper right corner under the RCA Victor logo. At the bottom of the front cover it states : “8 Songs Selected By The Swedish Elvis Fan Club”. The inside of the digipack displays three latest issues of the Swedish Fan Club magazine. It also states that “this CD is available only at the Festival On November 4th, 2000. Limited to 500 Copies” ! The details on how to contact the Swedish Fan Club are also provided. There are also color pictures of 4 45RPMs that some of the tracks originally appeared on. The back cover shows a close up version of the picture from the front cover. It also lists the 8 tracks included on this release. The BMG Sweden and RCA Victor logos are also printed. In addition the following warning is printed : “For promotion use only – Not for sale.” There is also a sticker showing the CD’s individual number in the lower right hand corner of the back cover. The CD itself is made to resemble an orange RCA Victor label. At the top of the CD in white print it states : “8 Songs Selected By The Swedish Elvis Fan Club”. The titles of the 8 tracks included on this release are also printed in black print. The BMG Sweden logo is also printed.
