Issued in 2000 by BMG Sweden to promote the “Elvis – Swedish Hit Collection” 2 CD set.
This CD release comes in a color cardboard 45RPM size sleeve. Only 500 copies were pressed and each release was individually numbered in the right upper corner of the front CD sleeve. The front cover is identical to the commercially released 2 CD set with the exception of the CD number in the upper right corner. The back cover lists the six tracks included on the CD. It also contains a short narrative by Hans Larsson in Swedish. In addition , a small black and white picture of Elvis in his army uniform receiving a gold record is printed. The BMG Sweden and RCA logos are printed in the bottom left corner of the sleeve. The back sleeve also contains the following warning : “For Promotion Only – Not For Sale. The CD itself is black with white print. It is made to resemble a record with a black label. The CD contains the BMG Sweden and RCA logos and the title of the CD. In the lower part of the label it states : “BMGProm 98. For Promotion Only – Not For Sale - LC 00316.” In addition , the CD is attached to a square cardboard , which fits inside the 45RPM size sleeve. The cardboard contains a black and white picture of Elvis in his Gold Lame suite. It also lists the 6 tracks included on the CD.
