ELV1S 30 #1 HITS - press sampler

Issued in 2002 by BMG USA to promote the 30 #1 Hits CD.

This 5-track CD comes in a plain jewel case without any front or back inserts. This promotional package also comes with a custom made Elvis promotional folder. The front of the folder replicates the front cover of the commercial CD, and the back cover replicates the rear cover of the CD.  The folder contains a 4-page biography printed on gold color paper in black font and a 3 page list of 'Fascinating Elvis Facts' printed on white paper with 'ELV1S' logo in color. It also comes with a promotional package replicating various Elvis articles.  In addition it also comes with the Elvis 30 #1 Hits pin.

The CD itself has a white background with black print. The title of the CD and the RCA logo is printed across the top of the CD label. In the lower part of the CD label, the titles of the tracks on the CD are listed. On the right side of the spindle hole, the catalog number and the warning phrase, 'Not For Sale', are printed. There is a white  sticker attached to the front of the jewel case with the following text: 'This CD is protected against unauthorized copying. It is designed to play only on home audio CD players; it will not play on computers, some DVD players or other devices, if you experience playback problems, contact cdinfo@bmg.com'.

 

ELV1S 30 #1 HITS - Press Sampler (jewel case release)

Issued in 2002 by BMG USA to promote the 30 #1 Hits CD.

This 5-track CD comes in a regular jewel case with the front insert only. The front cover contains the half face shot taken from the commercial release from the rear cover. The only print on the front cover is as follows: 'ELV1S - 30 #1 Hits – IN-STORE AND LISTENING STATION SAMPLER – ALBUM IN STORES SEPTEMBER 24, 2002' in white and gold print.  The inside of the insert contains the track listing of this promo release. The catalog number and RCA/BMG logos are also printed along with the famous warning: 'Promotional Use Only.  Not For Sale'. In addition, it also states: For the first time ever, 30 #1s from the King Of Rock & Roll on one CD. Mixed and mastered from the original master recordings. 

Album also includes bonus track: 'A Little Less Conversation' (JXL Radio Edit Remix). In addition, the RCA/BMG logo and the standard promo warning are also printed.
