This
section features rare but original Elvis CDs.
Listed are: Test-pressings,
misprints and very hard to find
collectable CDs.
None of the CDs listed here are for sale, they are for information only.
Here we have some blank CDs that were either used in test runs or are
missing their print side due to technical error.
Test copies of vinyl releases are identifiable by a white handwritten label as such. Test copies of CDs are
not, as the matrix number is the same for a test as for a standard CD.
Therefore a blank CD is either the result of a test run or is simply missing the
print side due to a production error.
Test CDs have never been packaged and sold through official channels.
It is therefore safe to assume that a blank CD in a standard cover is the result
of a production error.
Both types of blank CDs are rare and worth collecting.
Most likely a test pressing. CD comes with no
front or back-cover.
The disc is complety blank. The only information we have is what is written on
the sticker attached to the front of the jewel-case (see scan).
Here we have a
blank pressing.
It's a regular release of the first "Suspicious Minds" CD (EU) that was found in a standard CD package... but
the CD has no printed color on it.
Thanks to Roberto Zanetti.
CD came in a standard cover, but it is
impossible to say whether it is the result of a production error or a test
press. The owner have got it directly from an employee of the pressing factory.

Most likely a test pressing! CD comes without
covers.
On closer inspection you see a hand written
number "9823" (which is part of the matrix number)
on the CD printside.
This CD includes the content of the first german release with
"I Love You Because", take 2 with whistle intro from take 3 (released
by error).
Even this blank CDs were found in a standard
triple case with front- and back cover, we think this are test CDs.
It seems not probable, that the machines ran out of color at three CD prints.

These blank CDs were found in a standard box which came without
sticker and inserts
Most likely this are test CDs.
It seems not probable, that the machines ran out of color at five CD prints.
