Between 1988 and 1997 the Buchclub released 24 CDs and 4 box-sets - all unique Buchclub releases. 
These CDs were only available for members of the German Bertelsmann-Buchclub, and limited to about 1000 pieces/each

From October 1985 the Buchclub has also sold ordinary releases as Buchclub CDs. All these CDs have a 'sticker' with the Buchclubs CD number on back of the jewel case.
From 1991 you could also get 'repacked' Buchclub releases.

 

The Bertelsmann Club was going out of business on December 24, 2015.

"Repacked" CDs

From 1991 and untill today you'll find these CDs. All is the same as the ordinary releases - execpt the back insert (1990 cardboard box).
The back insert from the ordinary release are replaced with the Buchclubs own insert with the Clubs catalog number on the spines -
or/and a different barcode to the ordinary release - and often also the Buchclubs special price.

"Sticker" CDs

Ordinary CDs sold by the Buchclub from October 1985 until the end of the business
On back of the jewel case you can find a white sticker with the Buchclub number.
The sticker indicates the CD is sold by the Buchclub for a special Buchclub price.
It is unknown how many regular CDs were offered in the club.
